1.      When aircraft stalls:

a.       Lift increases, drag decreases

b.      Drag increases, lift decreases

c.       Lift decreases, drag decreases

2.      At stall warning the pilot will first experience

a.       Sudden rise of drag and buffering

b.      Stick shaking and aural horn

c.       Loss of lift and flight control

​

3.      Angle of attack is

a.       The angle between the chord line and the horizontal

b.      The angle between the chord line and the relative wind

c.       The line between the chord line and the normal to the surface

​

4.      Anti-balance tab:

a.       Reduce control force

b.      Prevents flutter of control surfaces

c.       Moves in the same direction as the control surfaces , gives the control force and feel to the pilot and maintain stability 

​

5.       Lowering flaps:

a.       AOA increase

b.      Camber increase

c.       Introduces drag aft of the compression line

​
